Adam Gilchrist, the retired Aussie great is on now at 400,000. Punjab enter bidding for his base price. No one apart from Punjab seem to be interested. Pune enter with 425,000. The bid is now at 600,000 and it is with Punjab. Pune increase it to 650,000. Pune and Punjab are the only ones fighting it out. 800,000 and Punjab have him for now. Pune ramp it up to 850,000. Punjab are having a conference, 900,000 they say now. Now Pune are having a discussion. Geoff Marsh, the WC winning coach of the Aussie team in 99 is in charge of them now.
